GETTING AROUND

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION : The only transportation services legally allowed at the airport are private transportation companies, taxis, and rental cars. Please click here to see rates for private transportation from the airport to the property.

LOCAL TRANSPORTATION : Uber is available in Los Cabos, but is notoriously unreliable. Taxis are great for returning to the house, but it can be hard to call them for pickups. We recommend a private driver named Felipe Martinez- he is very reliable, English-speaking, and charges comparable rates to Uber.

SECURITY : The Ventanas HOA has strict security; you will be required to present a government-issued photo ID to check in with security at the front gate. This is for guest and resident protection.

  • ACCESS : The house has an electronic keypad on the front door. You will receive the code via your booking platform (i.e. AirBnB or VRBO) the morning of arrival. PLEASE NOTE: There is a backup lockbox with physical keys in it in case the key malfunctions. The code is the same as the door code.

  • QUIET HOURS : Ventanas is a residential neighborhood. The HOA strictly enforces quiet hours from 10 pm - 8 am; please refrain from making excessive noise that may bother the neighbors. Guests will be responsible for any fines incurred by HOA violations.

  • CHECK-OUT IS AT 10 AM: Please…

    • Take out the trash

    • Turn off all ACs

    • Lock all doors and windows

    • Leave the gym card hanging on the wall hook

  • ACs and STREAMING SERVICES : We will leave on the ACs and the TV so you know they are working upon arrival.

  • FIREPIT : Hold the button down for about 10 seconds then light the flame. Please turn off when leaving the rooftop.

  • TRASH goes in the black and yellow trashcan on the side wall outside the garage. No recycling pickup.

  • POOL AND GARDENING : The pool service and gardeners come on Tuesdays and Fridays. They will knock, but if you don’t answer they will need to pass through the house to access the rooftop pool. PLEASE NOTE this is very important to keep the pool clean and properly cared for. Even if you are using the pool, PLEASE allow the pool service to quickly take care of the pool to avoid cloudiness or other issues during your stay.

  • WATER USAGE : Please conserve water to avoid inconveniences during your stay. Water supply for ALL private homes in Los Cabos is held in cisterns underneath the houses; the municipality sends water to neighborhoods in a round robin, usually once every 2 - 3 weeks, to fill all the cisterns. If the water runs out we will have to call a water truck to refill the cistern. Water trucks only run from 8 am to 8 pm.

  • PARKING : There is parking in front of the house. The garage must remain empty, as the water supply for the house is underneath - we need access to the cistern lid so we can check periodically to ensure you don’t run out of water during your stay.

  • IN CASE OF EMERGENCY : Our concierge staff is available through your booking platform (i.e. Airbnb, VRBO, etc) from 9 am to 9 pm Cabo time, 7 days a week.

    • FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCIES OR FIRE: Dial 911

    • FOR AFTER-HOURS EMERGENCIES: Call Joe Diaz at +52-624-191-8187 or Kally Proctor at +1-325-725-4197 (You MUST call Kally twice in a row or the call will not go through)

      • An after-hours emergency consists of a serious WATER LEAK or any type of GAS LEAK at the property.
